Born in Altai Siberia, Russia, Oksana Kolesnikova was introduced to the piano at a very young age. In 1993 she moved to the U.S. and settled in Florida with her family; she graduated with honors from Florida State University in August 2001. She has since performed hundreds of concerts, including two world tours ( Europe and Asia ) for the deployed U.S. Troops overseas - the first and only female Russian pianist to do so.
